Food was appetising and I have nothing but really really nice memories from this trip. Everything was great from staff, who were amiable, to the perfect location. The room was bright, with smoke detectors and great views.

The location is marvelous, not far from the Guadalupe River and close to all attractions. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is good. The rooms are bright, in good condition, and they offer wake-up service.

It is a difficult task when the hotel is below any expectation we were expecting.
Wow, to keep my opinion as professional as possible is a difficult yask. My family and I checked in the non smoking room and the room was reaking of cigarette smoke! It was late and we decided to just stay. In the morning my daughfers pulled an empty Jack Daniels bottle from under the bed! Small roaches around the wholes in the bathtub walls! We checked in on Thur and left on Sunday the used coke cans by the only broken pool table sat there and continued by the pool as we left. To say the least the hotel should not even be open!!! I would never pay that price for such a filthy and roach infested place again!

Friendly staff, easy access to car
Room and grounds felt 'cheap' considering we paid $125 a night! I would have expected it to be closer to &65 a night. I felt the price was for the mere fact it was withing 1/2 hr of river tubing.

The people.
The pool is not clean, the free internet was taking so long to work, I just shut it off.

This place has a great location near the river and offers a nice restaurant and waterpark; the beds are exceptionally comfortable, the air conditioner works well, and there is convenient storage space in the room.

The location was ideal. There is no way this hotel gets a 7.2 ranking, don't believe it!
The room smelled of mildew. The breakfast was less than appetizing. The hotel photos which showed new lcd TV's and what looked like newly remodeled rooms were in direct contrast to what we actually experienced. The hotel was old, run-down, and in dire need of upgrades. I'm glad we only stayed one night! Again, no way this hotel deserves a 7.2. Maybe a 2.5!!

This place was a great stay for the price with a variety of fresh breakfast options included, all in a fantastic location close to other attractions.

I liked the breakfast most of all. Texas shaped waffles are the best. We also enjoyed the king size bed.
The room had the strongest smell of cigarette smoke. It was like hitting a wall as soon as the door opened. Airing out the room by leaving the window open and a custodian to spray the carpet did not help in the least.

Clean room, comfortable bed, low price, and convenient location.
Loud occupants, breakfast room messy, holes in wall behind door.
